Insadong Meeting
Yesterday, my friend and I went to Insadong to meet two girls on a blind date. Their names are 승원 and 영미 (Seung Won and Young Mi). We ate delicious 삼겹살 and drank a little 소주. There was also some fried egg and 찌개 on the table. We took many pictures. After that, we walked around a little and ate 팥빙수. It was great. There was another one of those bathrooms for both men and women, and a women's bathroom next to it haha. Then, we walked along 청계천 and talked and took more pictures. Both girls are pursuing nursing. They are 21 years old. I gave 영미 my e-mail address and Blues blog address hahaha. She likes Louis Armstrong. 영미 told me she wanted to meet again, with 성인 and 승원. I told her I'd also like to meet her alone. Finally, it was time for the girls to leave. I said "좀 허그를 주세요" to them. They were a little surprised. Then, 승원 mentioned how French people say "hello" and "goodbye" with kisses. I said "too much" and we laughed. I went back to 남대문 and picked up some dumplings, and was up until 3 AM, talking to people on MSN. This morning, I woke up and called my brother, and he told me that my phone bill is 800 dollars=X. Here are some pictures!

Meeting Eunhye & Jihye in Myeongdong
Yesterday, I woke up late, ate some chicken kebab, and called Eunhye, to confirm that we were meeting inside Dunkin Donuts in Myeongdong at five o'clock. Around four o'clock, I talked to a guy named Jason in the lobby. He's from California, looks to be a little older than me, and taught English in China for many years. He said he speaks Chinese better than 80% of the foreigners in China! He gave me some advice on teaching English in Korea. Anyway, I got on the subway, as it was pouring rain. I asked for directions to the Dunkin Donuts, and finally someone was able to point me in the right direction. It was actually right near the subway stop. I waited on the third floor of Dunkin Donuts, since the first two floors were totally filled up with people. I called Eunhye and she said she was on the subway. Around 5:20, I called her again, and as I was listening to the phone ring, she showed up with Jihye and said "hello". We sat down and talked, I showed them pictures from my camera, I told Eunhye she looks just like she does in her pictures and she's an "이쁜 여자". She denied it, of course, and pointed out her small pimple on her chin. We all took pictures together, and they actually came out good, unlike with 태하 누나. 은혜 is much more outgoing than 태하 and her English is better, too. However, she didn't seem as into me as 태하, but it may have just been her conservatism. She said she only dated one guy. I told Eunhye and Jihye all of my Professor Kim and Mike stories throughout the night, and also my "물 좀 주세요" one. I went to the bathroom at Dunkin Donuts, which was a bizarre experience. It was a bathroom for both men and women, meaning that there was a urinal, a stall, a sink, and men and women in there. Of course, men and women weren't allowed to be in there at the same time. A girl who was sitting with her friend next to the bathroom seemed like a good person to ask for advice about what to do. She sort of walked into the bathroom to let the girls know I had to pee haha. This was the closest I'd ever been to a women's bathroom. I actually got to see inside it. It was a little bit of a weird experience. Finally, they all cleared out of there, I peed, went back to Eunhye and Jihye, and we looked around for somewhere to eat. We went to two different places that had immense lines, so we settled on some Italian place. I got a barbecue pizza and they got a salad. They refused to let me pay, but they let me pay later on at Cafe Pascuci (spelling?), when I bought them coffee and got myself some green tea ice cream. By the way, right before the cafe, Jihye picked up some sheet music for Ravel, a Classical composer, at the same place where I bought my Jimmie Noone cd the week before. When Eunhye went to the bathroom at the cafe, I talked to Jihye about Eunhye and how the date was going haha. Then, Eunhye came back and we all talked some more. Eunhye said that some foreign soldiers go to her church, and she is friends with one, but he is not good looking. Then, it was time for Eunhye to leave, because she had an hour-long trip back home to 잠실, and she had woken up at 5 AM that morning! haha. Outside, it continued raining. I tried to get Eunhye to share my umbrella with me, but she shared it with Jihye instead. She is a conservative Korean girl haha. Then, at the subway station, it was time to say goodbye. I missed my subway, because I was saying goodbye to them with hugs, so I stayed behind. Then, two minutes later, another ride arrived for me, and I said goodbye. Next time, I'll go to 잠실 to see just 은혜. It was fun! Tonight, I'll meet 홍 성인 at exit 4 of 회현역 and we'll have some fun. Here are some pictures from yesterday!

Ch'ungmuro & Myeongdong
Yesterday, I woke up rather late, wore my light blue Mackintosh (awkward spelling, eh?) shirt, and went to Ch'ungmuro to eat Popeye's. After that, I got a pinacolada smoothie at a place nearby. I headed over to Myeongdong to look for dvds and cds, and found nothing great at the place I usually go to, but right next to that place, there was a bigger, less-bootleg-ish-looking store, where I picked up 태극기 휘날리며 and a bootleg Deep Purple concert dvd from 1974 for three dollars. I watched the Deep Purple one last night, and it was fantastic. Today, I'll be meeting Eunhye and her friend, Jihye, at the Dunkin Donuts in Myeongdong. Hopefully, I'll be able to find the place easily. At night, I picked up my laundry, right after talking to some guys from Switzerland outside the hostel, while eating my chicken kebab. Then, I talked to Clara for about two hours, until after 2 AM, while listening to John Lee Hooker. Clara is a great friend!

Meeting Tae Ha At Yong San
Yesterday, I woke up late, talked to Nick on MSN, ate pepper steak potato chips for lunch, took a late shower, and then went to go meet 태하 누나 at 용산 지하철역, which has a mall inside of it, and a 대우 car display. It's really a beautiful mall. There is also a waterfall going down the steps. It's really a great looking place. There are also restaurants and ice cream places. Anyway, I met her a little after seven. She recognized me right away. She was carrying a book on Roman history, and said she has not computer in her room; just a lot of books! Wow! We went to eat at a curry place, because we couldn't find a 삼겹살 place. She got a hamburger curry thing, and I got a pork cutlet with cheese with curry dish. I gave her my olives, because I don't like them, and she said she likes them. She saw some pictures on my camera. She wouldn't let me pay, so I snuck 10 dollars into her pocket book, with her knowing haha. After eating, we went to a coffee place. She got some bitter coffee and I got a strawberry smoothie. We looked at more pictures on my phone, and on her cell phone. She wouldn't really let me see a lot of her pictures. She said she was naked in them. I was shocked. Then she said she was just joking. We went to the bathroom, and I told her I was sad because the cops went into the bathroom to get a homeless guy out of there. After that, we went to sit outside on one of those benches with no back to them haha. I hate those things. I played her the Cream song on my phone, since she likes Clapton a lot. We talked a lot outside, for at least an hour, and then went to the bathroom again, and had to say goodbye. It was a lot of fun. We talked about Mike, Noeul, Nick, Clara, her ex-boyfriend, who loved wrestling, etc. She laughed at my Professor Kim imitation, and my Italian imitation, and my Russian one, too haha. We hugged goodbye. When I got back to Nam Dae Moon, I ate 야끼 만두 at the same place. I stayed up late, talking to Nick on MSN. I'm supposed to hang out with 노을 today, but she's not answering her phone!
